Wednesday players have continued to represent their countries this week.

Harry Amass played the full 90 minutes as England’s under-19s defeated Scotland 4-0 to complete their three-game Euros 2026 first qualifying round campaign with a 100 per cent record on Tuesday.

The squad’s victory came after a 2-0 win over Lithuania and a 7-0 success against Latvia, taking the Wednesday loanee Amass and his table-topping team-mates through to the next stage.

Also at under-19 level, Owls youngster Will Grainger came on as a 69th minute substitute for Wales on Tuesday in their 3-0 Preparatory Friendly Tournament defeat to Germany, while keeper Logan Stretch was on the bench.

Meanwhile, Sean Fusire was in action for Zimbabwe on Monday, playing just over an hour when they defeated Qatar 2-1 in a friendly as they build up towards next month’s African Cup of Nations.
And like Harry Amass, Yan Valery also played the whole game when his Tunisia side drew 1-1 with Brazil on Tuesday.
