Danny Rohl is reported to be ready to return to Wednesday.

We began pre-season at the end of last month but Rohl has been absent all summer and has been linked with moving away from Hillsborough, despite being under contract to the Owls.

However, BBC Radio Sheffield’s Rob Staton is saying today that, with owner Dejphon Chansiri now looking to sell the club, Rohl is ready to stay at S6.

Rohl’s assistant, Henrik Pedersen, has been taking charge of pre-season training at St George’s Park this week, and now comes this latest reported twist after a close-season of off-field trials and tribulations … even by Wednesday’s standards.
