Wednesday go into tomorrow’s game with QPR at Hillsborough looking for a first home league win – and goal – of the season.

After three goalless S6 defeats in the Championship, Henrik Pedersen will be hoping his squad can follow up last weekend’s win at Portsmouth with three points against a QPR side who are looking for a fourth successive victory.

He has no fresh injury problems after the Pompey game while Nathaniel Chalobah and Reece Johnson are edging closer to full fitness.

Off the field, the number of EFL embargoes placed against us has risen to five this week while reports are indicating that there could again be delays in some payments to staff at the end of the month.

Pedersen has also further strengthened his technical team with the appointment of Pete Shuttleworth who joins us after having recently left Wycombe Wanderers.
