The Owls have released details of our pre-season plans ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

The players return for routine testing at the end of this month, followed by a week’s training at Middlewood Road.

They then travel to St George’s Park on July 6 for a further six days of training, culminating in a friendly against West Brom on July 11.

The squad returns to Hillsborough and we play a second friendly against Preston at Middlewood Road on July 18 – both fixtures behind closed doors.

The following day sees us flying off to Hungary for five days of training in Budapest before completing the overseas schedule in Austria.

We fly home on July 26 to continue pre-season preparations before splitting into two groups to play friendlies on August 1.

The first group takes on Accrington Stanley at the Wham Stadium (ko 12:30pm), while the second plays Oldham at Boundary Park (ko 4pm).

Ticket prices for both friendlies have been set at £12 for adults and concessions £6, with sale dates yet to be released.
