Wednesday have signed Luton striker Jerry Yates in a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old spent the first six years of his career at Rotherham, during which time he had season-long loans at Carlisle and Swindon.
He then joined Blackpool in July 2020 on a three-year contract and went on to hit 42 goals in 124 appearances.
With Blackpool relegated to division one at the end of the 2022-23 season, Yates moved to Swansea in the Championship in July 2023, scoring eight goals in 43 games, also having a season-long loan at Derby where he netted 10 goals in 42 matches.
Then came the move to Luton for a reported seven-figure fee before the start of the current campaign, where he has been on the mark twice in 22 appearances.
