Billy  Mitchell and Cole McGhee will both miss out through injury when Wednesday kick off the season tomorrow with a home Carabao Cup first round tie against Bolton Wanderers.

Mitchell is sidelined with a minor ankle problem while McGhee suffered a shoulder injury early into the friendly at Accrington Stanley last Saturday and will need surgery.

The South Stand and lower blocks of the Kop only will be open to home supporters tomorrow. The capacity is capped at the current number of tickets available – 14,000 for Wednesday fans and 2,000 to Bolton in the upper section of the West Stand.

Tickets are still available online and in person in the Ticket Office up until kick-off.
