Henrik Pedersen’s major selection decision for the Good Friday game at Stoke looks to revolve around Jamal Lowe.

The striker has been away with Jamaica in Mexico during the international break, getting some game time in the World Cup qualifier play-off semi-final win over New Caledonia and then watching from the subs’ bench as they went down 1-o to DR Congo in extra time in the final, thus missing out on the chance of a place in this summer World Cup finals.

The DR Congo game did not finish until early on Wednesday morning (BST), he then had a long trip home from Mexico and with the game coming a ‘day early’ on Good Friday we wait to see if he is ready for action at Stoke.

Marvelous Nakamba, who captained Zimbabwe to victory in a Four Nations tournament in Botswana earlier this week, could also be in the squad at the bet365 Stadium when Wednesday will again be backed by a great following from S6.
