Heskey could make starting line-up

Loanee Jaden Heskey could start his first match for Wednesday when we take on Birmingham at Hillsborough tomorrow evening.

Heskey, 20, came on as a second-half substitute in our 1-0 home reverse to Portsmouth on Saturday and Henrik Pedersen is now considering giving him a starting place against Brum.

Once again we will be looking to end our winless Championship run, which is now at 20 games, and we will also be wanting to gain some revenge for the match at Birmingham in September when we were 2-1 up before the home side grabbed an equaliser in the ninth minute of added time.

A familiar face in the Birmingham goal is expected to be former Owls loanee James Beadle.

The game is a 7.45pm kick off and will be live on Sky Sports+.
